Devon is a county of contrasts. North Devon has wide sandy beaches as well as Exmoor.  South Devon has more wonderful beaches and picturesque river estuaries.  In between is Dartmoor.

Clovelly is a tiny fishing village on the north coast that is completely traffic free.

The English Riviera consists of the three resorts of Torquay, Paignton and Brixham.  Attractions here include Paignton Zoo, Kents Cavern, the most important Stone Age dwelling in Britain, and the Golden Hind, a full-sized replica of the ship used by Sir Francis Drake to circumnavigate the world.
